Hello! I'm Ruiz from Metro Manila, PH. A naturally inquisitive data enthusiast with a passion for personal knowledge management, collecting data, and uncovering insights that could bloom into new ideas. My journey into the world of data began with an inherent love for capturing, organizing, distilling, and expressing information — and finding meaningful patterns within it. This fascination drove me to master PKM tools, spreadsheets, Python, turning raw data into compelling stories, and linking thoughts into new ones. With a solid background in internet marketing, I’ve honed my analytical skills to drive strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I co-founded Oddly, an e-commerce apparel business, blending my love for the arts with entrepreneurial spirit. This project not only fueled my artistic passions but also sharpened my business acumen and problem-solving abilities. It also revealed my passion for data management and leading team operations. Realizing that my true passion lay in data, I immersed myself in learning data analysis skills like Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau. I hope to build on this late-found but deeply-ingrained passion and do some good with my attained skills.
